[OSList] Wonderful video of two journalists running a short Open Space

Hi Jeff,

not specific to diversity conversations, but in Austria we had good success
offering Dynamic Facilitation as an optional resource for Open Space
sessions. We've done this at least twice now, at conferences hosted using
Art of Hosting, with the theme of the conference being DF itself (the first
one) and public participation in Europe (the second one).

In both cases, there were plenty of DF practitioners there, so it was a
fairly easy thing to do. We did find that it made sense to offer longer
sessions for those who wanted to use DF to delve more deeply into a subject
(2 hr sessions instead of 1 hr ones.) And sort of by implication, people
tended to stay, though they certainly could have used the law of mobility
to leave.

Reason I'm bringing it up, is that DF is particularly helpful for engaging
in difficult conversations, so could be a useful adjunct to OS in this way.

with all best wishes,

Rosa
