[OSList] Agile for OST Facilitators (Call #2: Monday 10/28, 7PM NYC/EST time)

Dan, You are moving at the speed of light and I love it!

Though part of me is in the mode of "go slow" to "go fast". That's how I
feel about Open Space and why I've imagined such a powerful connection
between our communities -- Open Space (go slow) and Agile (go fast in an
efficient, collaborative sort of way) .

When we invite people around an important issue that they care about,
opening time and space for them to self-organize, it's as if time slows
down and expands. It's so precious -- precious in the way we connect to
ourselves and what we are truly passionate about, that we want to take
responsibility for and precious in how we connect to each other,
celebrating differences and where we are the same.

Now of course, I don't mean that Open Space is slow no more than I feel
that Agile is totally fast. I just feel there is a complementary essence
to each which I've been attracted to for quite a while. And the more I dig,
the more I feel that way.

So Dan I applaud what you are inviting.

As a French Canadian born, in Quebec city no less, I'd love to hop on a
plane and join you. Somehow just as you sparkled in Paris, I have a feeling
it will be the same in "la belle province de Quebec". Hope you include
those family photos plus the more risqué hippy picture of you too! :-)

Suzanne
