A little help -- Please

The two thoughts that come to mind are.
Prepare to "Muddle Through" this.
and
Expect the unexpected.
While it may be achievable in a shortish amount of time, sustaining this 
kind of organizational environment is a commitment of a lifetime (of the 
organization, not the CEO).
the image that comes to mind is standing on the top of a pole, on one leg, 
juggling, while singing the complete works of the Beatles....(no, I've never 
tried...just an image).
There will be times when you "got it," but then the mind loses focus on the 
balance, or you drop the ball, or you start thinking too much about the 
second verse of Yellow Submarine, and you go back into that wonderful state 
known as chaos.
The would seem likely in an organization. There are moments of colective 
clarity, when the organization is running on all cylinders, and then a key 
player retires (or is poached), a project that was the focal point of the 
organization gets completed (or shelved), the government changes 
regulations, etc. etc. etc.
The ball is dropped, and you've got to get off the pole, get the ball, and 
then start all over again, hopefully, this time singing, "Let it Be...."
