Question about "top manager"

That's cool, better he comes for an hour than not at all.

Here's what I would suggest if it fits in with your timetable:

1. When he enters, take him around to see the wall of outputs from
previous sessions.

2. Show him the current issues being discussed in breakout groups and
ask him if he would like to join one and participate.

3. After this exposure and before the event ends, ask him if he would
like to make any closing remarks to everyone about the event and what
will happen to the priorities.

If he sees a lot of creativity and focus by participants and senses
the high energy in the room, any good manager will want to build on
this work for the organisation's benefit.

Hope it goes well.  Let us know what happens.
