[OSList] OST facilitation technique: too prescriptive?

Hi Dan 
I do ask people to return to their seat afternposting a topic. I also ask participants to start by making a brutto list of topics, divided on the different time slots of course, before starting any negotiations, merge or moving of topics. 
I think the magic focus when waiting for more topics, often in total silence, is special and it may be important to some of the participants.
