Thank you Ágota, and Chris.

Birgitt, thank you for your questions, I will attempt to answer them here...

I've been thinking about this more, and I'm leaning away from suggesting
any specific organizing format (even OST) to my relatives. Instead the
weekend will be all about opening space naturally as these six adults are
cooking food together, walking in the woods, sitting by the pool, etc.
It's a beautiful woodland setting with few distractions, so I think that
something like this might actually work for people whose sense of security
has been shattered. Or things could go very wrong for reasons that I
cannot yet imagine.

My family does not have any expertise in helping people in these tough
situations, so their responsibility would be to maintain the grounds and
the inspiring spaces (tea house, fern walk, moss gardens, etc). The
organization running the program would choose the facilitator and determine
the schedule, if any. They would be responsible for providing
transportation 100 miles to NYC and other logistics.

Serving a group of six adult (plus their children) for 3-4 days at a time
means that 600-800 hundred lives could be changed over the course of a year.

These are my questions for OSLIST:

   - What is the minimal amount of program/facilitation to make these 3-4
   day retreats succeed?
   - What are the biggest problems that are likely to happen? I need to be
   realistic and not just optimistic.
   - What other advice would you have?

I sincerely appreciate it!
