[OSList] Mixing self-organization with structured instruction

Hello, fabulous Agustin -

Anyone can converse, share, discover, present, show, explain… in the 1 or 1.5 hours of the time schedule you have designed, no?
On your post-its you could label if some meeting areas have projection or something, so someone posting their topic on the Agenda Wall chooses that post-it because they want a big screen or something.
So I am curious and perhaps you can tell us more - what is preventing someone from giving a structured talk within the design of your discussion-session scheduling?
Of course some people may exercise their two feet if they find that having a conversation is more informative than receiving a talk..and you know all that.
So I'm wondering if there is something more that informs your question - such as… if it's just the participants who want something specific, you can invite it from them. You can ensure your participant group includes people who know about this stuff and tell those 'experts' about they dynamics of we-all-share-wisdom / high engagement in Open Space.
If it is the organizers or sponsors, I suppose they could put something on the Agenda Wall and see if anyone comes. That has some power dynamics attached to it so …
Here I am back at the beginning of my circle wondering why this could not happen in typical Open Space.
