Reflecting on Artur's suggestion, it is perhaps a good idea that a technology support team from the larger world of Open Space join hands with the host country to assist in making happen all that we hope could happen, sharing the work load, skills and gifts present in our community.

I agree with that suggestion. I will be pleased to participate in that effort.

That said, being here now, I know there is no camera, no technology, no words that can convey the feeling of love and camaraderie that always happens in Open Space. Deep reflections, joyful laughter, hugs and smiles from the heart and the eyes, new insights, new hope, new energy and a knowing that what is happening in the moment, the new friendships can only happen when we are physically present. It is the essence of Open Space to be savored that is at the heart of it all. It is the place were we often get courage and context for what we do. I wish if for everyone that once, twice or more in their life, they be able to attend this magical gathering in person.

I agree and disagree with that
;-)

I agree with what you write.

But I disagree with what is implicit
in it - the idea that those that are outside can't feel a similar, even if less
intense, sensation. What I think you are not considering is that the people
that will see the live projections and read and comment the reports (if they
have that opportunity), are not full strangers, but people that are probably
OST facilitators, known members of the community, and that have in many cases
been in other OSonOs - so they can feel the gaps and participate even if only
in a limited way.

Try to imagine yourself, after
being present in the last WOSonOS's, if you will not be able to come to London,
but are able to see and heard the streaming of the plenary sessions, and read
and comment the reports, don't you think that you will profit from that, and
will be more "present" for the people that see your comments that if
those possibilities were not in place?

With care

Artur
