Opening Space and Participating at the same time?

I am so glad you are asking about this - so far two gatherings I've  
facilitated, I've also been a participant and would love to hear  
about and share experiences of this.  Both times were with my  
cohousing neighbors, so people I know well who are already used to  
making decisions by consensus (very different from open space, but  
compatible in a way different from "typical" organizations)
