BTW, Brett, Lisa was the OS Diva who opened the space at the 2008 GS
convention. She knows her stuff!

Hi, Brett -

I love working with young people in Open Space. You need only do the
same thoughtful pre-work you would with any group - design a question
that invites diverse thought and interchange around a topic, invite
for diversity, select a good big space, don't squish it into too short
a time, design how you are going to do documentation, and so on. Just
do it as you would do it for anyone. And, just as for anyone, stay out
of their way, and don't think you have to be extra 'helpy' just
because they are young people. They'll know exactly what to do, and it
will be marvelous.

Be sure also to collect any art or poetry they may create as they go
(as this is often how young people think and explore while they
discuss things) and with their permission, included those in the Book
of Proceedings along with their session notes. It is all part of the
documentation of their experience and dialogue together.

Enjoy,
Lisa
