SV: [OSLIST] WOSONOS 2009 and Then.......

Thank you, Michael, for sharing this. The increasingly competitive,
and it feels to me, exclusive, nature of the process for WOSonOS has
saddened me. It felt like it was moving away from the heart and soul
of what OS is all about. What you have said here really resonates for
me. (And in a world facing so many crises, a WOSonOS day with many
local meetings with virtual connection points, feels more responsible
and responsive to emergent needs.) I remember a story of how someone
spent more than year planning a meeting and after that experience was
inspired to invent something called Open Space so nobody ever had to
go through that again. Anybody else remember a story like that? ;)

Blessings,
Wendy
