What are the benefits of a national OS-Institute?

 Hiya Catherine.

We don't have an institute here in the UK. But we have www.osuki.net, which
I initiated just before Christmas. It now has 16 co-creators, all of whom
have "the keys to the house".

I'm not convinced that we need anything more than that over here.

Institutes strike me as a pre-Internet, Organisations 1.0 concept.

By the way, if you're interested in Management 2.0 and Organisations 2.0
(and I guess you are!), please take a look at http://moon-shots.ning.com.
There are some very good conversations happening there.

Very best wishes,

Jack
