Dear Holger,
2 to 3 hours a day twittering, Wow!
I spent decades with a multitude of tools, approaches, principles,
techniques...to help "change unfold" in all kinds of settings. A while
back I realized that change does very well unfolding all by itself. In
addition, I did not see much outcome with approaches to manage change
(lets see what will come of all the change management efforts that are
presently being tried in this seemingly awesome world economic crisis).
What I did see happening in the last few years (more or less around the
clock) in the 200 or so os-events I was involved in is that
selforganisation unfolds very nicely under certain conditions. The major
one being very simple, albeit not easy: stepping back.
Just received a note from Estonia that they are on the verge of running
400 os events on the first of May, presently training 400 os
facilitators for that job.
Now, that gets me pretty excited and maybe I can get my aging bones
there to get a glimpse of selforganisation unfolding and, with the
amazing availability of the internet in Estonia (all citizens have free
access to the internet)there will be loads of twitteres, I am sure.
Here a link, click something in the upper right hand corner to see some
of the stuff in English (being translated by the mom of one of the
active open space workers in Estonia).
Greetings from Berlin Lichterfelde
