your thoughts on really big invitations?

Lucas,
I sometimes think that the........tricky thing about "get in touch" is
we believe that we have a choice.
Is it really a matter of choice or passion or expectation?....or simply,
we are in touch and that's it, whether we like it or not.
This is an undeniable fact.

You could give them the 2 page summary about OST + some links and run
away (or take a nap).
Or, if you're into doing lots of work, somehow make it easy for them to
get in touch with each other.
Tricky thing about "get in touch" is - do I really want to get in touch
with anyone, and have anyone get in touch with me? Or should there be
some anonymity or "ask if we may talk" ettiquette thing?
If I think about the professional networks I know of, I think I would
want to approach/be aproached on an "issue of interest" basis. "If
you're passionate about my passions, then we may talk."
One person's signal is another person's noise.
Lucas
