the parents to get involved with developing the pedagogy but of course
conversations are welcome and we encourage them all the time. The school
works out of the "Montessori-pedagogy" - quite open spacy!"

Thomas you really have my curiosity aroused. If the school is Montessori and
"open-spacy" -- What is the problem with parents and pedagogy? I would have
thought that the more parent participation and involvement the better. I can
understand that pedagogy is in part a job for specialists, and I rather
suspect that in most instances parents would defer to the specialists. But
at the end of the day pedagogy is the heart of the matter and it very well
could be that parents have a special contribution to make from their special
perspective. After all the students are their children, and they (parents)
too are pedagogues in the literal sense. They lead and draw out children.
