accesskinging to Goa

Dear listers,
I have put together an appeal letter (with LisaHeftAccessQueen's help) so that I can attend the Goa conference. I've never been to an OSonOS before.

Is there anybody on the list who I could send the proposal to who could do the "ask" for me? Might you have ideas as to where I might make the "ask"? Or maybe you know of people you could forward the letter to.

Altogether I am seeking $1570 US:
Travel (Moscow-Goa roundtrip) $800
Conference fee $150
Accommodation $250
Meals $170
Miscellaneous expense (pocket money) $200

I have accesskinged my way to other things before, but each time it's a little scary, almost like opening space for the nth time.
