Hi, Romy, Hi anybody here.

This has nothing to do with safari (besides, safari sounds funny in this
context...); the .swf-format of the map requieres macromedia "flash-player"
installed. (look in goggle for "flashplayer+OS X+download" and load it
down...)
Besides: Almost all OS X- users, I know personally, are working with the new
"mozilla"-stuff...
No idea, whether it's supposed to be implemented in safari.-
I am an "oldfashioned" Mac OS 9.2-guy buy conviction...at least as concerned
internet
-so, with all the viruses and spy-attacks, others wonder about, I feel
completely at ease :-))

Besides, whole Western Africa is completely "blue", and it doesn't
absolutely surprise me... since 15 teen years, I'm dealing with people from
Western Africa; there are some nice friendships, and the last 6 Month, I was
2 times at the embassy and the consulate of mali with some musicians: One
time, it was the celebration party of a successfully done "mobile
AIDS-laboratory"-project for Mali.
Since many years, I'm really in contact with the "Griot" - role (or you can
call it "Jali" also -which is a combination of "ceremony-masters,
master-musician, cultural manager, story-teller, mediator and
conflict-manager" and it's really funny to see, how close our way of dealing
one with each other, comes to OS. -The other day, Harrison told about when
it was up to him, to do his dance in the circle...(we did the same and
finally we got all this carefull diplomatic people there to dance, like
Harrison did - anybody cheered and atmosphere became incredibilly open and
funny, just doing this. You can find a lot of cultural phenomenon, which are
very close to OST there...a lot of analogies..because they are supposed to
open space...therefore, in western african countries, music and dance are
deeply rooted in culture, having an important social function. So, a lot of
my knowledge about communication and opening space, to me is deeply rooted
with Western Africa...and there are interessting examples of ethnic and
cultural coexistence.
My heart is attached to this "Africa and OS-Theme and I have a very personal
interest on this Mali -OS-project. I'd really love to remain "up to date" .

sincerly
