Elena -- I find myself asking questions quite similar to Michael P. And it
may just be a matter of my mis-understanding your words. But I can't quite
imagine what an "OST Test" would be -- even less how you would pass or
fail. But what I do know is that when people gather of their own free will
around an issue of passionate, common concern, they always get on with the
business and if "results or actions" are possible or appropriate, all of
that seems to happen. I guess what I am missing here is some sense of what
the focus is, a feeling that whatever it might have been, the people who
came did not share it, and in any event the "results" the sponsors had in
mind (whatever they might have been) were not important to a significant
portion of the people in attendance. Sounds to me as if the Open Space
worked just as always, but I would look very hard at the reasons for having
the Open Space. And particularly the expectation of "results".
