What is the message of OST?

Your choice of course. But I find it useful to think more about the
learning the group could achieve in the search for the knowledge they need.
Something about teaching people to fish as opposed to providing a sauteed
filet of sole. I suppose if I had the magic bullet they required I would at
least think about offering my pearls of wisdom. But only think about it. In
most cases, I  prefer that they figure it out for themselves. It is
something (once done) they will never forget -- neither the knowledge or
the experience. And having done it once, they can do it again -- which is
the whole point for me. I guess I also find that my pearls of wisdom, which
looked brilliant to me, don't quite make it with the folks. They rather
like their own.
