Hi Elena -- Good to hear from you.  So this is the good question:
How to do this?  What constructive responses have Russians found for
grief at the hands of others?

The irony is that one response that often follows is to limit our
freedom in the defense of freedom.    Someone on the radio today
asked the question: "If we discovered that the terrorist was an
American, would we bomb the American city (s)he came from>"
