OS Writing Opportunity

Dear OSLIST,

My friend and colleague Gayatri Lee is editor and publisher of a monthly
magazine called Spirit in the Smokies, which has a readership of 30,000,
mainly across North Carolina and the southeast U.S.  The February issue of
Spirit will focus on Open Space, and will include an interview with
Harrison.  Gayatri is seeking writers (from anywhere) who might wish to
contribute to this issue.  Spirit does not publish articles, but only "First
person stories of personal/psychological/spiritual transformation."  Length:
500 to 1,000 words.  Deadline: January 10.  Gayatri also guides writers not
to submit old work, but to create new work with the intention of accessing
deeper personal learning.

Invite Your Stories.  I believe that this issue of Spirit in the Smokies
will prove to be a fruitful opening for OS here in the southern highlands
