Media and Open Space

Not sure how many people are on-line given OSonOS just finishing. Looking forward to having you all in Australia next year by the way.

My topic: How can the media be included in open space?

I am facilitating a 300-500 person open space over two days. A highly political social change movement, with the key players always keen to leverage any event into a media story (fair enough). Can media be integrated in any authentic way into an open space? How can this be done. I have had one negative experience myself when TV camera men turned up just as we started posting topics to the wall and an older woman had made the difficult heroine's journey to the microphone to only have a TV camera light up in her face. Definitely space invasion and I stepped in. 

What have been people's experience?
