Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC (near Ashville in
Southern Appalachians) would be an excellent option in USA for your
group's needs.  Their website is www.kanuga.org.  We hosted the
International Organization Development Association (IODA) conference
there last autumn and Open Space was part of our 4 days,  It's a
beautiful retreat setting and with great staff!
