Convergence in a learning OS

Chris:  It is good to see you on line. Send me your new location as your
e-mails have been coming back, so I had assumed that you had moved.

I have used Open Space in a number of learning environments and increasingly
do convergence at the end.  If nothing else, it gives people an experience
of convergence. If the focus is on individual learning then I have asked
individuals to read the report and to develop their own priorities and next
steps, sometimes with a form. I encourage them to get into groups if they
choose. At one conference, this led to some real action beyond the
"learning" agenda. Otherwise, asking folks to discuss what they learned in
Open Space in a group (or groups) can be useful.
