I see a very powerful "both / and" here...

I very much appreciated reading your suggestion that the "exchange between
tribes" be "achieved sustainably as a part of ongoing practice"  by
encouraging

every exchange that any "tribe" is engaged in anyhow and anyway" to welcome

So much that I resonate with here!

AND,

I also think it is very valuable, to have a gathering that is intentionally
designed to bring "tribes" together, as the "Art of CO" gathering in
Donosti several years ago... and fully support Rolf in this effort...

one small historical example of the "pattern" of this both/and; some time
back there was a controversy raging in University campuses as to whether
there should be a separate "Women's Studies" department, OR, whether
"women's studies" (including the contributions and perspectives of women)
should be integrated into every existing department.

For many, it eventually became clear that the most helpful answer, for many
reasons, was BOTH...
