[OSList] Gratitude Galore

Dear Friends,

"Whoever comes are the right people" and indeed albeit just a short
interlude together it was so wonderful being on QiQochat for a post WOSonOS
Krakow conversation with Karolina Iwa and Michael Herman (with Lucas Cioffi
listening in).  Each of us has hosted and facilitated a WOSonOS though
Michael would say back in his day, it wasn't called a WOSonOS. Each
gathering has been different and each has been a labor of love. While we
all wish it to be less is more, making it easy and welcoming for everyone,
wishing it to go smoothly while knowing that any conflict that pops up will
take our learning and connections deeper, "whatever happens happens".

We talked about how the world has changed since those early gatherings when
it was essential for people doing this work to meet to support each other
and to remind ourselves that we weren't crazy as Michael says. In those
days, Open Space was not as well known as today.  At this time, we
described feeling the urgent need for all that Open Space has to offer
wrestling inside ourselves to let nature take its course and letting go. I
would have so wished to be in Krakow. I got a feeling of those intense,
important and intimate conversations that I could not really get from a
briefing book. Also got a glimpse of the planning work which was so similar
to what we lived in Florida. We are indeed fortunate to be able to
communicate in all kinds of ways and to feel the spirit of gatherings that
have come and gone. Love the stories and most especially the opportunity to
hear each others' voices. Thank you Lucas, Michael and Karolina!

Open Space everywhere and anywhere! How lucky to have the shared awareness
of what this means and the connections that go with it.
