Hi all!

I am bidding on a UN project with 2 others from a company called Junicon,
with whom I have been a long time contractor.

The task is to facilitate the b development of a post MDG framework for a
consortium of entities who focus on reproductive, maternal, newborn and
child health- sponsored by WHO.

I have bid on other UN projects with Junicon and we won a big UNFPA project
2 years ago.

The RFP asks for information gathering from stakeholders and facilitating
development of scenarios with emerging trends, culminating in a formal
written framework.

This screams open space to me, maybe including a few online open spaces
prior to in person board retreat and possibly something like appreciative
interviews.... however, my current team is not familiar with this type of
approach and is leaning toward traditional scenario planning as developed
in corporate world and standard interviews, "analysis" and controlled
discussions.

I am looking both for advice on how to communicate my approach and at least
one person who would be interested in joining the team. I haven't gotten
agreement on bringing in someone else, but they b would be open to it. I
wanted to have people in mind first.

This is a short timeline. Proposal is due sept 26 by mail. We would not
expect a "new" team member to do any substantial work on the bid.

Interest, advice, questions? Happy to talk on the phone.

Thanks for considering! :)
