It's great to appreciate those who show up are the right people. One
facet of Open Space that I learned recently which helps me internalize
the principle about whoever shows up are the right people: Open Space
has a magnetic as well as repulsive element. Better to be alone in the
magnetic vortex of one's inquiry than with 100 people that aren't really
aligned. We want to attract, and also repel. A 20 person Open Space can
sometimes be much more impactful than one with 1000 people. Same with
OST sessions. The sessions with more than 7 can feel quite crowded and
therefore be less powerful.
