Indeed the kabbalists call it "tzimtzum" - in which the creator steps back from the center (a fertile void) in order to open space for a universe to appear. Kinda like that moment when you step back and wait for others to step in. A likely enough story, I'd say.

Tonight I facilitated a minor Open space for an association, and besides all the energy I want to share what one participant said in the closing circle."Open space is like Big Bang, first there is nothing, then chaos and out of that - this fantastic result".
