NOTE:
Special thanks to you for getting by interfaces with OSTLIST 
straightened out! I've been delayed in replying to OSTLIST because of 
technical glitches

Two things:

1/ OSLIST members need not be intimidated by Agile. It's not about 
technology or programming! It's all about people. You can see that here:

2/ Online or via concall, I am willing orient and educate OSTLIST 
members in Agile stuff, Open Agile Adoption and how Open Space fits 
inside. I need to be clear: this technique requires that the coach bring 
in a skilled OST Facilitator. This means that when Open Agile Adoption 
gets traction, demand for skilled Facilitation (big "F") is going UP

3/ The OSTLIST member community cares because Agile adoptions are a 
pre-existing and clear and present opportunity to bring Open Space to a 
MUCH wider audience. The Open Agile Adoption method brings the canonical 
form for OST into a business, via the IT entry point. The BIG 
OPPORTUNITY is this: the BUSINESS people who touch IT attend these Open 
Spaces, they are always at least 40% of the membership in the event. 
This mean Open Agile Adoption is creating a vector for the promulgation 
of Open Space throughout the world, via business, via IT. The Agile 
thing is now mainstream. This is it.

4/ Agile adoptions are woefully weak and Open Space is the secret sauce 
in the receipt for success! This is mostly because of "mandated 
collaboration" where Agile practices are mandated. There is no 
invitation! This is a tragedy of epic scope. The lack of invitation 
seals the fate of well-intentioned Agile adoptions. There is no ill 
intent, but rather a general ignorance about the power of invitation.

I want to be very clear in saying that my intent is to shift Agile 
adoptions away from mandates and towards invitation. This is the name of 
the game!
