Ce texte sera apprécié de plusieurs.  Il contribuera de façon significative aux changements globaux qui s'opèrent dans les communautés francophones présentement.

Hi everyone,
Yes Gail we had a grand time in creating this collective book on Open Space. On the fundamentals of Open Space, we were on the same wave length. This is not surprising since Open Space mimics a natural process that is engrained in all of us and that becomes visible if we find the conditions to let it surface.
The gift of this project was Harrison Owen joining in with a solid preface to the book and with his generous words in the video about the book and the project. More people are likely to pay more attention because of that. The group of co-writers has already thanked you for this and I thank you again personally. 

We did exchange ideas on each other's articles and that was really on relatively
 minor aspects, preferences, perspectives on how to, etc. ...and finding words that can convey the same meaning (or close to the same meaning) in different countries or even regions since as we all know that language evolves differently in different places through time and life circumstances and with the influence of the environments. 
The challenge was as Suzanne mentioned, connecting across time zones, technology to do it, access to that technology, busy schedules and dealing with various events of other projects that got in the way of the calendar. That is small potatoes when we consider the friendships we created or solidified and the fun and laughter it brought us. 
The response from readers is already very encouraging.

French Book on Open Space.  It was produced as an Ebook that people can
download for free. Intended primarily for a corporate audience, the
book gives examples of actual client situations (from the private and
public sectors) where Open Space was used while also providing

organization avec coeur et élan” which means “Change your
organization with heart and vitality”.

OS community including Harrison Owen who wrote the preface and a team
of 9 authors: Frémy Cesar (Haiti), Catherine Corbaz (Switzerland),
Suzanne Daigle (USA), Diane Gibeault (Canada), Théo Groot (Uganda),
Christine Koehler (France), DéborahMaarek (Belgium), Catherine Pfaehler
(Switzerland), and Artur Silva (Portugal).

               The fact that Harrison’s Open Space User Guide
was not available in French and that there were so few resources and
publications in French are what motivated me to start this project.  We
began about a year ago not really knowing what we were getting into. It
was a wonderful collaborative experience! Our hope is that this book
will raise awareness and generate lots of interest in the Francophone
community around the world – a precursor to having the User Guide
translated also.

               To launch the publication of this book, we
produced a short video and
are planning to promote the book with the following press release.
 While the video is in French, you will have a chance to see and hear
Harrison talk about it in English (French sub-titles) and also see the
team giving examples, sharing their excitement and inviting people to
read the book. 

               For those who are interested, here is
 an integral copy of Harrison’s preface in English titled Note
to Corporate Clients / Note à l’intention des entreprises,in
which he speaks about his work with the International Accor Group of
Hotels in France.

              What

               Comme le livre d’Harrison « Open Space User
Guide » n’est pas disponible en français et qu’il existe peu
d’information dans cette langue, cela m'a motivé à lancer ce projet.
Nous avons commencé, il y a environ une année en ne sachant pas
exactement dans quoi nous nous engagions. Ce fut une merveilleuse
expérience collaborative !

               Nous espérons que ce livre permettra de
sensibiliser le public au Forum Ouvert et suscitera l’intérêt de la
communauté française et francophone dans le monde entier – et
constituera peut-être un précurseur pour une future traduction du «
User’s guide.
