Hi Eva,
I handle it in the usual way. There are however many people left, concentric
circles, cordless handheld microphone that goes around. Before it leaves
you, you can be as dramatic as you want to indicate that it must go all the
way and back around to you within XXX amount of time, or else they have to
be prepared that people will start leaving for trains, buses, planes and so
on. I usually start with the outermost circle and work in, I ask them to not
give their thank yous during this circle so that we dont have a repeat
of 2000 people saying thank you. I do ask that if they have nothing to say
right now, to simply pass the mike along. And if they do have something to
say, a quick point about something that they appreciated or that they
learned or that they will take away as an action to do as a result of having
been in this meeting would be welcome. I have only ever run over by 15
minutes. And of course, you do need to leave some time for the closing
circle. How much time do you leave?
Warmly,
Birgitt

resources?
OK,
I give up :-) Sorry but it's faster this way - to ask you guys directly. My
question that I was looking for the answer in the archives was and is - How
do you do/ how to handle a closing circle when there is thousands of
participants in an OS meeting. I mean it could take very
loooooooooong.......
I tried to remember the name for the 2108 participants OS but don't
remember...
How did you do that?
All the best
:o)
Eva
