Indeed there is a message from Pablo in the Spanish Group (Espacio Abierto) of the Ning which I have not seen in the OSLIST that answers to half of my concerns:

Thinking of all those who will not be able to attend the Wosonos in Chile next week, we will use  #wosonos as a hashtag in twitter. It's very useful to follow our conversations
We will also try to broadcast the key sessions via Ustream

WOSonOS en Chile!

I am sure that Juan Luis will be a marvelous host for those that may go to Chile.

The others will wait for the news on this list.

But it is a pity that there is no transmission through the internet (at least)
of the plenary sections and a Wiki to display the summaries of the breakout
sessions so that those that can't go to Chile may feel more included. 
 
Maybe
that can still be (self-)organized...

Everything is moving and all coming together! Chile is the
place (Wherever it happens is the right place!) And the time is NOW. A quickly
expanding NOW! Juan Luis and all his friends have prepared a marvelous
gathering, and I am sitting here at the Airport Holiday Inn just waiting for
the starting gun… Bad image I guess – but it will be a popper –
guaranteed! More soon from me and others.
