[OSList] An event on making theatre in Open Space

Inviting any London-based or London-near Open Space practitioners to a
post-show discussion at Ovalhouse Theatre this coming Wednesday 16th.

For the past 6 months, and full-time for the past two weeks, I¹ve been
directing a show for theatre company Shaky Isles. We work in Open Space to
make our work, This year that also meant taking on new performers during the
year. They approached us and asked if they could be involved ­ we said yes,
the psace was open, they should come and see if they wanted to stay.
We now have two new company members who were previously strangers.
After Wednesday night¹s show we are holding a post-show discussion about the
joys (and otherwise!) of making a show, from scratch (it¹s a devised piece,
created by the company), in OS.
