4 July: 25 years of Open Space

Hi OST Community,

I am just back from WOS on OS in Berlin. Still a little groggy, but wanting
to chime in.

I am new to OST -- less than a year's worth of my own perspectives on the
methodology. In the spirit of "yes/and" I would like to offer that YES I
may be new, AND "the project" should be friendly to all levels of experience
within the OST Community.

"The project" -- I hestiate to call it a book at this point-- maybe a "road
map" or an "outline" or a "catalog"... or not catagorizing it for a while
;-) One of the themes that continually comes up for me is the rush to
creating meaning. In my mind, I like the idea of putting (working
title): *"Open
Space Technology: Perspectives from the first 25 Years"* into the community
and seeing what stories emerge. Then ... only then, clustering those
ideas/stories and then discovering the emergent themes and presenting those
stories under those themes. Then as a community, or at least, those
interested in working on the project, coming together to organize and
explore the next steps... I would be interested in being a part of the
self-organizing team that gently facilitates this process.

I look forward to hearing feedback and seeing where this conversation goes.

All the best --> Kas Neteler
