Hi OST Community, <br><br>I am just back from WOS on OS in Berlin. Still a little groggy, but wanting to chime in. <br><br>I am new to OST -- less than a year's worth of my own perspectives on the methodology. In the spirit of "yes/and" I would like to offer that YES I may be new, AND "the project" should be friendly to all levels of experience within the OST Community. <br>
<br>"The project" -- I hestiate to call it a book at this point-- maybe a "road map" or an "outline" or a "catalog"... or not catagorizing it for a while ;-) One of the themes that continually comes up for me is the rush to creating meaning. In my mind, I like the idea of putting (working title): <b>"Open Space Technology: Perspectives from the first 25 Years"</b> into the community and seeing what stories emerge. Then ... only then, clustering those ideas/stories and then discovering the emergent themes and presenting those stories under those themes. Then as a community, or at least, those interested in working on the project, coming together to organize and explore the next steps... I would be interested in being a part of the self-organizing team that gently facilitates this process. <br>

When I suggested compiling a book, it was the stories I was thinking<br>
of, the experiences and feelings and revelations, not the facts.<br>

If anyone else is interested in pursuing this project, please let me<br>
know. I'd be happy to be a shepherd for this.<br>

I'm looking for facilitators' stories, participants' stories,<br>
sponsors' stories, organizations' stories: their skepticism, their<br>
understanding, their feelings before/during/after, the impact of the<br>
event on an organization, and so on.<br>
