Subject: Open Space in Crisis management

Hi dear list

I have had a inquiry from a regional authority in Sweden about Open Space in
crisis management, e g. how do you as responsible/field worker in schools,
in elderly care, in health care etc. manage without electricity in the local
community. My thoughts are that there are a lot of organisations and bodies
that need to have good knowledge of how to mobilize people and plan and
facilitate meetings in situations where big storms, floods, fires,
pandemics, etc happens.

I remember having read about how nurses organisations used Open Space in
connection with the SARS epidemic, written by Michelle Cooper.

I would greatly appreciate hers and any other examples of the use of Open
Space in situations like this.

Greetings
