His Honor the Mayor

As you will have noticed, the Open Space on Sustainability took place in
Harrisonburg. I am really impressed with what they did as a positive step in
opening up (pun intended) the political process. And the Mayor seems to like
it too. He wrote, "My inability to capture in words the energy and momentum
this event created makes me wonder how I can thank you adequately for your
method and personal interest in the event.  But I know you're so familiar
with such an afterglow that I can simply say, "Open Space worked as Open
Space works", and know you'll be able to calibrate the depth of my thanks
with the predictable amazing-ness of what this event caused and is causing."
