On Second Life

I have spent time in Second Life.

The challenge of opening space there could prove very interesting. I
hope someone accepts this challenge. Perhaps part of our role as a
community is to facilitate the experience OS in every mode that our
world is lately manifesting. It could be a good idea for those in SL
and an interesting experiment for folks like us. There's no telling
until we try it.

After I opened my own account in SL last year, I sought out the woman
who runs the SL space for Princeton University. She's an expert, runs
their complex in SL, and has made quite a place for herself there,
including pursuit of a musical career. But she warned me that SL is
not for everyone, and I learned that she is right.
