Hello Alan

Thank you for sharing with everyone your thoughts on the Awakening the
Dreamer Symposium. I too am a symposium facilitator and have been an
OS practitioner for several years. I think many of us in the ATD
community are also OS practitioners. I am based in the UK and it is
quite usual here to open space at the end of the symposium. It is a
great way for the energies ignited in the room to converge around
actions...I hope you found this worked for you in your symposium.

In recent weeks we have also talked about the Transition Towns
Movement on this listserve...this is another community focused on
creating a new and better world after cheap oil. This community has
also embraced open space as its conversation tool...you can find
Transition Towns on www.transitiontowns.org.

As a facilitator and dialogue host with a passion for reconciling
people and planet I am finding that all conversation processes have
never been in more demand...It is magnificent to have these tools to
help us find our a way to a new way of being, conversing and doing
together....and I am full of gratitude to those who have nurtured
these ways over the last 40 years...With deep appreciation, Cliodhna
