AW: Nutrient beginning

Hi!
I am new to the list, and thought I would pipe up to say how
enriching I am finding these notes to be - from love to mycelium -
seemingly disparate yet ultimately greatly interconnected ideas,
examples, and nutrients for thought and action in the world. :0)

Marei - your definition of love made me smile! I have been sitting
with the experience/contemplating the notion of love a great deal
recently, and I am so tempted to get swept up in the immensity and
complexity of it, that it was wonderful to read a definition that
celebrates the simplicity of love, that is easy to relate and refer
back to, and of course, remember!

Thanks for this sharing,
Christie

Hello, everyone - We have sent our first visa invitation letter to one =
of
our wonderful international colleagues and hope that if you need one you
will contact us very soon. Here is a slight adjustment - please send =
your
information (see below) to both Ms. Nettie Pardue and Ms. Kelly Feder - =
they
are working as a team to help those of you who may need an invitation =
letter
for your visa appointments. The little cable cars that ride up and down =
the
hills of the streets of San Francisco are waiting for you to come and =
take a
lovely ride as you sightsee around the lovely city... - Lisa

This is a message to remind those of you who will be applying for travel
visas to attend WOSonOS 2008 that it is important to do this as early as
possible. As many of you know - in some countries just getting an
appointment can take a few months; and awaiting a decision can take =
several
more months. So: even if you are delaying registration until you know =
that
you can come - please do ask us for a letter of invitation for a travel =
visa
now if you need one for your visa application. We are happy to create
these letters for you to give to your embassies until about June 15 - =
after
which it may be too short a time-frame for us to be able to send these
letters to you and for you to secure a visa application appointment in =
time.
Again: the earlier the better.

=20

To ask for a visa invitation letter - please read the following for the
information we ask of you. Then send that information to my fabulous
colleagues on the WOSonOS 2008 Host Team, Ms. Nettie Pardue and the
also-fabulous Ms. Kelly Feder, who are the 'visa invitation letter team' =
-
and I bow to them.

=20

_______________________

=20

Please send to both Ms. Nettie Pardue and Ms. Kelly Feder the following
information and they will create this letter for you:

=20

Your full name

Date of birth

Passport number

Your postal address

Your telephone, fax, email

Full contact information for the US embassy in your country (official =
name,
postal address, telephone number(s), fax number with country code)

=20

Please include with that information:

=20

A paragraph about your experience in Open Space and facilitation, why =
you
wish to come, and how you will use the experience you gain at this
conference

(We think that information will help your interview and we shall include =
it
in the invitation letter)

=20

So please send all the information above to both Nettie and Kelly at:

nettie at nettiepardue.com and federandhenkel at yahoo.com.

=20

We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco in July !

Yup--especially the phrase about “grand disassemblers of nature”--I have
long been calling what we do "Community Disorganizing!"
