Hello, dear colleagues - We will be sending you ongoing messages to help you
plan for coming to WOSonOS this July.

This is a message to remind those of you who will be applying for travel
visas to attend WOSonOS 2008 that it is important to do this as early as
possible. As many of you know - in some countries just getting an
appointment can take a few months; and awaiting a decision can take several
more months. So: even if you are delaying registration until you know that
you can come - please do ask us for a letter of invitation for a travel visa
now if you need one for your visa application. We are happy to create
these letters for you to give to your embassies until about June 15 - after
which it may be too short a time-frame for us to be able to send these
letters to you and for you to secure a visa application appointment in time.
Again: the earlier the better (see more on the WOSonOS schedule and
registration, below)

To ask for a visa invitation letter - please read the following for the
information we ask of you. Then send that information to my fabulous
colleague on the WOSonOS 2008 Host Team, Ms. Nettie Pardue. She and the
also-fabulous Ms. Kelly Feder are the 'visa invitation letter team', and I
bow to them.

_______________________

Please send to Ms. Nettie Pardue the following information and she will
create this letter for you:

Your full name

Date of birth

Passport number

Your postal address

Your telephone, fax, email

Full contact information for the US embassy in your country (official name,
postal address, telephone number(s),fax number with country code)

Please include with that information:

A paragraph about your experience in Open Space and facilitation, why you
wish to come, and how you will use the experience you gain at this
conference

(We think that information will help your interview and we shall include it
in the invitation letter)

So please send all the information above to Nettie at:

nettie at nettiepardue.com

We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco in July !

Lisa
