wow this reminds me of opening year at Carnegie Mellon where engineering
students had to take 'human factors' we were like why do they have to do
this? We were more like Humanities and social science majors.

OK

About being human, books,

Margaret Swedish "Living Beyond the end of the world" This is number number
one, above all

"the shock doctrine" by Naomi Klein esp page 112 second para from the bottom

"ornament of the world" by Maria Rosa Menocal

"cultural creatives" by Paul Ray

"the rise of the creative class" by Richard Florida

"breaking ranks" by Ronit Chacham

"Better" by Atul Gawand

"the hidden connections" by Fritjof Capra

"sketching user experience" by Bill Buxton

"the miners of Windber: the struggles for new miners for unionization" by
Mildred Beik (sorry so dark and so distant)

That is enough. This is what I live for. I have thousands of books cascading
off the shelves here.

Best regards, and thank you for inviting me to share,

Brett
