Dear Ruthann,
hope that both your mom will be up on her feet and you will make it to 
the Stammtisch in New York...in Berlin people do bring family and it 
wouldnt surprise me if they started playing cards, too!
As of just now, the Stammtisch is also listed in the Open Space World Map

Just click on
MENU
at the bottom of the map
and then on
STAMMTISCHE
scroll down, its just above the SF Stammtisch which is the last in the list.
Both Scott and Esther are linked to the Stammtisch entry, so you can 
click on them and get their contact data (Scott is new to the map and 
does not have his picture in their yet, but I guess Esther will be 
standing outside of the pub and her picture is there so you will not 
miss her).
Lets hear how things went!!
