Mike--

All my best wishes for your time of chemotherapy. I have been there myself,
around the time of your earlier treatments, and I agree that the experience
changed my perspective on a lot of things.

It was quite a bizarre time for me; I was feeling more ill than ever in my
life, and quite good, all at the same time. I learned I had more friends than
I knew. I was totally bald for my son's wedding, and it did not matter.
When I felt better, I decided that the book I was writing maybe couldn't wait
until I was 80 and had more free time, so I got busy and finished it.

I have no idea how it will be for you, but I predict it will be an adventure
and a time of learning (which you say is already happening!). Enjoy the
journey.

Joelle
