Great question, Doug and Peggy.

I  make a distinction between paid and unpaid work in the Community.  
If there is no financial sponsor and the cause is close to my heart, I 
offer to facilitate pro bono, that is, without charge.  If the event 
involves travel, sometimes to another country, I ask for expenses only.
