AW: Bad conflict in an organization/X-posted GC/OS-lists

Dear Thomas, Open Space will bring up all the issues, not to worry. The
Pre-Work might be less than you suspect now - if the preparation group
contains members of both teams, if possible incl. the manager above them
(the sponsor?), and defines the topic of the conference in a way that they
all like, and you succeed in getting enough time (2.5 days would be super!)
and as many of the team members as possible, if not all of them, then that's
all you need. 
Perhaps your CCCR background will serve you very well for them to feel
really understood by you and trust you that you are the right person for
their difficulty and to bet he facilitator of their Open Space. 
One difficulty might be that the manager above them doesn't take leadership
- how open is he really to the idea of the Open Space? Does it rather
threaten him, or rather suit him well, because he believes in
self-organization and has up to now just not known how to install it?
