The Berlin landscape goes worldwide

Dear colleagues,

please go to www.openspaceworldscape.org

Since you all have a worldcentric view seeing this site will be a
surprise since it focuses on central Europe.
Don't worry we are in the process of changing it.

So far not even one thousandth of all the events that haven been
facilitated worldwide are included in this database yet. But it has the
potential to be just that: Depicting our collective experience.

Presently, it shows close to 300 events facilitated by about a dozen
facilitators, mainly from Germany, Switzerland and Ukraine working in
more than 20 countries.

You are invited to hit the button "register" to open your "account" and
to include your past and planned events. Upon registration you
immediately receive login and password details and can start to enter
the events you've facilitated. It's pretty simple.

As you look at the existing entries you will find that there is
information on
- theme
- sponsor
- field/sector
- number of participants
- length of event
- details of the the venue
- location (city country with GPS coordinates)
- space for additional information (whatever is relevant)

This service is not for profit. All the costs of this service are shared
twice a year by the participating facilitators. Since the costs are
fixed (about USD 50 per month) the cost to each of us keeps decreasing
as a growing number of events is included.

You might not believe this: We are enthusiastic and thrilled by the
potential of this database. We'd like to see 2000 entries by the end of
this year.

As we are writing this to you we see most of the participants of the
International Open Space Technology Training enjoying intensive
exchanges in a wonderful pub associated with this training site:
colleagues from Italy, Poland, Germany, UK, Palestine, Hungary, Iceland,
Austria, Netherlands, Portugal (the fellow from Spain has already hit
the sack). This is the future of Europe and the world.

Looking forward to our next worldwide meeting in the Ukraine in May
2007. Just 6 months from now.

peace, love and hugs
mmp and Jo
