Action marketplace and action planning

Continuing with the suggestions of Robyn and MH . . . where there is
limited technology or the wait time for building the area on an intranet
would diffuse the momentum, a private blog can be set-up with member
accounts for participants. A novice can do this and at no cost.

There are many benefits:

** I've found that capturing the original proceedings with a digital camera
(rather than transcribing them) has a wonderful visual impact and keeps the
ideas alive. These can be posted to the blog for easy reference.

** Members of the blog can add new topics, comments and resources across all
of the plans and the areas of great energy and opportunity are motivating to
the whole. It truly belongs to everyone who has an interest.

** Relevant external sources in the news, from clients, providers of
services or other stakeholders can be added as they are uncovered.

Building on MH's idea - in a setting where the participants are connected by
virtue of belonging (working or otherwise) to one organization -
corporation, institution and the like, I would propose that all the
proceedings from the open space be posted on the intranet site so they can
stay connected that way. They can update all that happens post open space
- something that people can keep as an ongoing record of their actions,
successes, learnings, impacts, next steps etc. All sorts of other possible
connections could emerge.

i'll be curious about this, too, michael. wondering what will be done with
these next step sheets, assuming they are to be returned to some central
place, posted on the wall, included in the report.
