Sorry for mistakenly posting this private message.

But, then again, since whatever happens is the only thing that could have, I'm totally open to reflections & suggestions from any of you who might be interested in this topic. I would even host a group phone conference on freeconference.com - a very simple dial-in service that can connect a very large group. Everyone has to pay their own long distance charges and the dial-in numbers are US.

Anyone interested, please respond directly to me and I'll send you an invitation for either next week at the times listed below or the week of March 20.

I'm vacillating between embarrassment and amazement. Why didn't I ever think of this before?

Praying for rain in overly dry Phoenix,

  Christine

Larry, would you be open to a phone conversation about marketing and business development? It seems you have done such a great job with shining the spotlight on OST, Spiral Dynamics, etc. in Canada. While Claudia and I are both doing fine in our local communities, we would really like to do more large scale work, which will most likely be with national or international clients.

If you have any time next week when I might call, that would be great. I'm open early afternoon Mon & Tues, and Wed or Thurs morning. After that, I'm hopping for awhile until the week of March 20. No hurry. It will be great to hear your voice no matter when that is. (I'm SO happy that you will be at OSonOS by the Sea!)

  Warm wishes,

  Christine

Now that OST is happening all over Ontario and Canada on a fairly regular basis. I also get people (sometimes clients) saying that it did not work for them in their last experience. I know there are a few folks that do it quite differently than I do and sometimes that leads to these comments. I've had others, who experienced OS from someone I respect, also say they do not want to use it (often with real intensity.) I hunch that for some of them, even a "great" OST experience scares them or challenges too many assumptions. They see strong emotions emerge, not all conversations have the same clarity or depth - and they assume it can be done differently given all the processes they have experienced. They prefer processes they can control. They realize they cannot control OST now they have experienced it. Sometimes that is because OST is not appropriate for what they want to do and accomplish in their meeting. They are looking for particular outcomes or action that they want to shape. For traditional "results" oriented people, it sometimes does that give them the results they want in the time frames they are willing to give.

So, I will respond by either teasing out what it could be like from my experience agree that OST is not the process for that particular sponsor.
